Tiffany Alberto is a licensed professional counselor in Atlanta with a passion for helping adolescents and adults who are struggling with life transitions. She has a specific interest in working with clients who identify as gifted, high achieving, and those in high pressure jobs, family systems, or relationships.
Creating a safe, warm environment where you feel heard and understood is her first goal in therapy. Her approach to therapy is patient, non-judgmental, feminist, and culturally informed. She believes treatment should take the whole person and their external environments into account.
Tiffany has worked with a diverse clientele to address concerns involving trauma, grief, shame and guilt, anxiety, depression, unhealthy relationships, major life transitions, sexual- and gender-identity exploration, perfectionism, and compulsive behaviors.
In addition to clinical experience, Tiffany has a life-long interest in volunteering and social justice. In this capacity, she has worked with grieving children and families, people living with long-term disability and terminal illness, restaurant workers who have faced medical crises or catastrophe, LGBTQIA+ communities, people of color, artists and art communities.
Tiffany has advocated for fair sentencing in death penalty cases, sexual and reproductive health outreach for at-risk populations, access to mental health services for survivors of sex trafficking, and comprehensive education for refugee children.
Tiffany grew up in Florida and attended University of South Florida St. Petersburg for her undergraduate degree. After graduating she moved to Atlanta and spent five years working in service-oriented fields before deciding to pursue a career in mental health. Tiffany earned a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University in 2017.
Tiffany is the founder and Clinical Director of Wild Idea Therapy LLC.
